I’ve been capturing Jennae and Tyler’s family for what feels like forever. Jennae is my sister, and I’ve had the honor of photographing her engagement, her wedding, and her family as they have grown! Her and her husband Tyler have also joined me for maternity and anniversary photos.

Just in time for the holidays, Jennae, Tyler, Millie, and Mabel welcomed baby Willa into the world. The five gathered in their home for some super sweet newborn and family photos, which has such gorgeous natural light! This whole family is glowing and so cheery, which is perfectly in tune with the holiday season and reflective of the new life they welcomed into their family.

April and Mike wed in 2016 at the gorgeous Villa Bellezza Winery, on a brisk and beautiful fall day. These two recently welcomed their baby girl, Nellie, into the world!

You can see the time and thought that went into crafting the cutest room for Nellie, with plenty of inspirational quotes, and headband options galore. We got the chance to spend the day with Nellie and her family at their home, which always makes for the sweetest images. Where do you feel more at home than well, at home?

My sister Jennae and brother-in-law Tyler’s baby girl Mabel is one! We celebrated with some family photos with her and her sister Millie! These two are truly two peas in a pod, and this family is a blessing.

Shelly, Joe and Aiden make the perfect family.

One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is getting to know families. To a certain extent, my being there for one of most important days of a family’s life allows me to do this. However, when I get to see a family more than once, it’s really special. That is part of the reason shooting adorable Aiden was so much fun. I had previously photographed Shelly and Joe’s wedding and they asked me back to create this awesome aviation themed shoot for their newborn baby. Considering my love for flying, this task was such a blast.

His parents gathered all of the props, all related to their passions of aviation and baseball, and we had so much fun dressing Aiden up. The little airplane that Aiden is sleeping on is a 1920’s pedal airplane that they borrowed from the Golden Wings Air Museum! I was so impressed by what they had come up with. They made my job easy by creating an awesome atmosphere and most importantly by just having an absolutely adorable child. Watching this couple clearly having so much fun with the people they care about most was such a treat. It’s always a pleasure to be invited into your family, Shelly and Joe! Aiden is a treasure. I hope this isn’t the last time I see you!
