Ashley and Olyvia splashed around Maui with Preston this winter for some oh-so-adorable mother daughter photos. Though you’d hardly know that it was winter with their cute purple dresses and not a bit of snow on the ground! This duo is goofy, loving, and a blast to be around. In addition to shooting Anna’s maternity photos at The Van Dusen Mansion, we also photographed Stephanie and Tanner! These two wed in 2016 in downtown Minneapolis, and it was a blast to reconnect with them and their future baby boy! The Van Dusen’s grounds are breathtaking, and if feels like you’re completely transported out of the cities when you’re surrounded by those beautiful birch trees. Thanks for filling the space with absolute joy, you two!

We had the opportunity to take two sets of maternity photos at one of our favorite downtown Minneapolis wedding venues, The Van Dusen Mansion! We are so excited to share this set, and while you’re here be sure to check out Stephanie and Tanner‘s photos as well. We were able to capture Anna and Jesse, who you may remember from their Montana destination wedding, amongst the beautiful rooms throughout the mansion. There was such gorgeous, soft light, it was perfect for these romantic portraits. We also took the time to get some outdoor photos of these two cozying up.

Vonnie and Boone has always had their family at the forefront of their life. Not only did their wedding photos heavily feature their kids, but their engagement photos did as well! This tight-knit group is such a blast, you can see how much they love and care for each other. They would do anything to make each other smile. The bond that this family shares is really an inspiration, and we are so grateful to be able to capture it over the years!

Prior to their winter wedding, Natalie and Josh ventured to Bayport, MN to take family photos with Natalie’s family on their boat! We returned to the sunny St. Croix river where the couple took their engagement photos, which coordinated perfectly with the blues that this crew dressed in. Smiles were easy to come by for these photos, but how could you not be happy surrounded by your loved ones in such a beautiful location. Like the pillow on their boat says, life is good at the beach!
