For Stephanie and Loren’s engagement shoot, they decided to do one of their favorite things: take their dog Reba to the park! Reba is a character, smiling along with her parents and getting in on the kisses. She seems to love Boom Island Park as much as we do, even a dog can appreciate those gorgeous fall leaves!

Stephanie and Loren are people who care deeply about their passions, and each other’s passions! And rightfully so, these two have awesome, unique interests. Stephanie’s love for the environment brought her back to school to pursue a degree in graphic design with the intent of visually encouraging others to take steps to protect the planet. Loren is a basketball coach who spends his time learning about early humans and catching matinee superhero movies on their opening weekend.

Yevgenia and Eugene love to travel, and made the short trip to downtown Stillwater for their engagement photos. Stillwater is always a gorgeous location, and it was even more so with the leaves starting to turn to autumnal hues and just enough crispness to call for a sweater.  One of Eugene’s favorite things about his bride-to-be is that she shares his adventurous nature, so of course these two were willing to brave the winds of the river and to wade into the St. Croix for some stunning golden hours photos!

These two have been together just short of 15 years, and became engaged while on vacation in Hawaii! They’re planning to have a second proposal once they have rings, because would it really be an epic love story without two proposals? In all seriousness, these two are meant to be together. The way that they speak about each other and the qualities that they share are proof that they’re the type of couple that will keep falling in love all over again.

Kelly and Robert are a couple that are so, so comfortable together, and you can see it in the way that they interact. They’re constantly smiling and goofing around with each other, not taking each other or themselves too seriously. This level of comfortability makes life and love easy, knowing that you always have a smiling face to welcome you home. This kind of connection comes with genuine love, but time also plays a factor in this kind of security. It’s no surprise that Kelly and Robert are so close, in fact, they have been engaged so long that no one remembers exactly when they got engaged! The two are finally tying the knot, and we can’t wait to be a part of that journey, documenting it every step of the way.

Roshni and Dharmik got married five years ago, and their only regret is that they never got engagement photos taken prior to their wedding. They teamed up with us to capture their story in a post-wedding engagement shoot to celebrate their five year anniversary! With the spark that these two have, you wouldn’t know that these aren’t actually engagement photos.

Hannah and Jason’s engagement shoot fell on a picturesque day, the weather brisk and windy as fall comes creeping in, but warm enough to get away with not wearing a jacket. The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum provided a lush setting, while mother nature provided a big, beautiful, bright blue sky. Hannah and Jason’s cozy, coordinating clothing rounded out the perfect shoot for this pair.
