Minnehaha Falls Park is a beautiful spot right in the Twin Cities to take amazing engagement portraits. I love Minnesota’s mix of old town wilderness among modern urban settings. Minneapolis and St. Paul have a special feel to them that can be captured in engagement and wedding photography. Having grown up here, this area is very dear to my heart. Monika and Cole shared my sentiment and enjoyed their evening photo shoot in Minnehaha Falls Park.

Remember when playgrounds were fun? Well today Jennifer and Peter showed me how much fun it can be to do an engagement photo shoot at the playground. These two rode seesaws and climbed jungle gyms for the very best engagement pictures. Usually I’m the one climbing playground equipment for great shots! I had a blast today, Jennifer and Peter. Your photos at the Lake Harriet Band Shell turned out wonderfully!

I love all the “props” in these photos! Check out the rusty old trucks and aluminum sided shacks in Tiffany and Andy’s engagement shoot. I love that amazing backdrops like this are free… The best things in life are free, right?
